THE SERVICE

An independently operated beta service

Global Signal is an independent service operated by an individual. It provides market-research and advertising-planning tools for people evaluating product opportunities. In this policy, “we” means Global Signal.

INFORMATION WE HANDLE

Information needed to operate the beta

If you choose Sign in with ChatGPT, we receive an account identifier, email address, and display name to recognize your account and maintain access status. We do not receive or store your ChatGPT password.

If you request email updates, we store your email address, confirmation and subscription status, relevant timestamps, and notification preferences. Email updates use a confirmation step before a new subscription becomes active.

If you use the Paddle sandbox checkout, Paddle may process the details you enter. We receive test transaction, customer, and subscription identifiers and status used to check membership access. If you contact us, we use your message and contact details to respond. We may also keep email delivery and error records needed to operate requested notifications.

Hosting, security, and service providers may process ordinary request and operational information, such as IP address, browser or device details, request time, and error or security events. The research service also uses public online sources, which can contain public usernames, post text, or other public attribution supplied by those sources.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

To provide, secure, and improve the service

We use information to provide account access and beta features, confirm and send requested email updates, maintain the service, investigate errors or misuse, and respond to questions. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and to meet applicable security or legal obligations.

You can use an unsubscribe link in eligible messages to stop email updates. To request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you, email us at google-ads-api@1724.io. Some records may need to be retained for security, dispute, or legal reasons.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Providers that help run Global Signal

We use Cloudflare for hosting, security, and database services, and Resend to deliver requested emails. Sign in with ChatGPT is provided by its respective provider. The beta includes a Paddle sandbox checkout demonstration; it is not a live purchase flow and does not create a live charge through Global Signal.

Research queries and public-source information may also be processed through third-party research-data providers. Those providers may process information on our behalf or under their own policies, where applicable. The service and its providers may process information outside your country or region.

GOOGLE ADS API

A planned keyword-planning integration

Global Signal does not currently offer a feature that connects a visitor's Google Ads account, and it does not request Google Ads OAuth access from visitors. A direct Google Ads API integration for keyword-planning research is proposed and is not active in the public beta.

No Google user data is obtained from visitors through that proposed integration. If this changes, we will update this policy before enabling the new feature. Read the Google Ads API Use page for the proposed scope and boundaries.

COOKIES, SECURITY, AND CHANGES

Practical choices and safeguards

The current beta does not intentionally include a separate advertising or behavioral-analytics SDK. Sign-in, hosting, security, and checkout providers may use cookies or similar storage needed to operate their services.

We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the beta, but no online system can be completely secure. The service is intended for business research and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the service changes and will post the revised version and date on this page.
